NO AI ART

These days we've seen a rise of hateful and irresponsible attitudes from the AI image generator community towards artists, and the lack of proper response from entities I respected such as Artstation. I deeply believe AI in art can have a place but only as long as it's regulated, considering artists' (and everyone else's) rights. Creativity is free, anyone can grab a pencil and learn. There's plenty of learning material available online, open to anyone who wants to use it. The art community has always been welcoming of newcomers, supportive of those who are learning, and doesn't deserve beind diminished like this. Those who have never taken the time to actually learn will never understand how gratifying it is to see the artistic (mental, physical and emotional) process take shape. Likewise, they'll never understand how deceitful it is to leap quickly and mindlessly towards results. That's money talking, AI picture generation has never really been about art.
